Sometimes you just have to let them play and let them be little!
We've been dreaming of spending more time in Florida and we finally did it, we found a place that we love and that we can travel back and forth from. It's 1/2 a mile from the beach, 3 minute drive to the beach, it's amazing! I'm spending my mornings editing, afternoon soaking in the sun at the beach, and evenings shooting beautiful families! It's so good guys, I wish you all could do it and be here for the summer with us! My evenings have filled up so quickly with sessions that I've had to open up sunrise sessions for families and it's just as pretty in the morning as it is in the evening. This is a dream for us, this is what we've wanted for a long time! I can't believe we get to live in both states. I will never leave my Oklahoma but ti's nice to split my year between Oklahoma and Florida!
Another beautiful family from Oklahoma in Florida! Yesterday was a bit frantic with the tropical storm, we were trying to avoid getting rained on. Momma really wanted a beach session so we bumped up her session time and headed to the beach and WE MADE IT! We did it, we shot the beach session and the storm clouds made for a beautiful sky! It's been such a fun time here in Florida shooting on the beach and working with clients from Oklahoma. I never knew there were so many families from Oklahoma that visit this area, it's amazing! Check out my first session here...

It was bound to happen, we love the beach so much that we just had to do it! We got a place in Florida! We plan on spending most of our summer here and we are traveling back to Oklahoma on weekends to shoot weddings, sessions, and minis. It's a lot of driving but totally worth it! This week while we've been here doing our Florida thang I've shot a ton of sessions. Check them out!
Hi Guys! Lisa here, I"m going to try my hand at this blog thing and see how it goes! I'm going to start by sharing photos of my crew from our adventure we are currently on, PANAMA CITY!
We love it here, it's our life! We feel our souls come back to life as soon as our toes hit the sand. I know it sounds super corny and cliche but seriously we A-R-E beach people. We often wonder how our families got stuck in Oklahoma because we love the beach so much, even our kids love it as much as we do! This trip we took 10 days off to come over Christmas and we had no other company come with us, it was just us 6 and it was amazing and we even got bored but believe me when I say after the crazy busy season we had this fall we needed to be bored! It was a nice break and I even got this entire website put up in just 3 days and revamped my entire business in a few days because I had no other distractions, I work better on the beach! We plan on coming back this spring to do some sessions and minis so if you are headed to the Destin area let me know and I would love to take your families photos!
